Q. How do I set up my TDS voicemail?

TDS has documents ready to help you learn how to use your new voicemail. Below are some simple instructions to help you get started.

Accessing the TDS Voicemail System 

Please setup your voicemail initially from your home phone.

From your home phone number:

  1. Dial your phone number or dial *95 and follow the prompts.

Accessing your mailbox from a telephone number that is not your home phone:

  1. Dial TDS Voice Mail by calling 704-235-1542.
  2. When prompted, enter your 10-digit mailbox telephone number and press pound button (#).
  3. The system tutorial will walk you through set up of: (1) a new security PIN, (2) a name recording, (3) a greeting recording. Once your mailbox has been set up, access your voice mail by dialing the mailbox number directly. Press * to interrupt the greeting, followed by your PIN when prompted.
