What happens after the vote passes? TDS and TDS will need to complete the final legal and financial preparations. The companies will be working together toward a planned official “close” of the agreement on or near Dec. 31. After this happens, TDS will take ownership and begin working to understand the operations with further detail. TDS employees will officially start with TDS on the day of close. Customers should continue to pay bills and interact with the company as they normally would. All customers should be aware that TDS will not call or contact customers to get information or make changes to account information. We ask you to be on alert for fraudulent activity via email or phone. TDS will mail you any correspondence when actions are needed.
