TDS is Now Part of TDS!

What you need to know

TDS has more than 50 years of experience providing communication services and is excited to welcome TDS customers aboard! Here are answers to some common customer questions:

What is TDS?

TDS has been helping people and businesses connect since 1969. Today, it’s a family of companies that provide Internet, TV, and phone services nationwide. TDS Inc. owns TDS Telecom, TDS Broadband, and U.S. Cellular.

When will TDS become TDS?

On Dec. 31, 2019, TDS became part of TDS. In the coming weeks and months, TDS will transition to TDS operations. As that happens, changes will occur. However, there’s no need to worry because we’ll share all the information you need right here. So be sure to check back regularly.

Will the TDS customer care office remain open?

Yes. The TDS office will stay open. In fact, TDS will continue to operate as TDS for now. Your products and technical support team will remain the same. And you’ll continue to interact with us as you do today. Any future changes will be communicated to you in advance.

When will the name change?

That hasn’t been determined. For now, TDS will carry the same name. When a plan is in place, we’ll let you know. So, be sure to check back.

Will my bill go up?

There may be slight variances in your bill due to tax/fee changes or other annual TDS rate increases. You’ll be notified of any changes in advance.

Will they honor the promotion I have right now?

Yes. All promotions currently in place will be honored. Once customers are converted to TDS systems, it’s expected that different products and services will be available. Check out hellotds.com to see what TDS offers in the other areas it serves.

Will TDS call me to verify or update records?

No. Do not give out information over the phone or online to anyone claiming to be from TDS. TDS will never call customers to update records. Instead, TDS will contact customers by mail about account changes and request that they call in.
